Placement Age Requirements

Little Beginnings through Pre-Kindergarten 3 (Ages 1-3) – Students must be at the appropriate age 1, 2, or 3 by September 1st. Children are not required to be potty trained before entering school.

 

Pre-Kindergarten 4 through Lower Elementary-Grade 3 (Ages 4-8) – Students must be at the appropriate age 4, 5 (Pre-K4 & Kindergarten) by September 1st. Children are expected to be potty trained at the time of admissions.

 

Grades 1-3 – GA reserves the right to determine the proper placement of new students in grades one and above. In addition to age, the Admissions Committee will assess the applicant’s academic level, previous school record, as well as the student’s physical, social and emotional development.

 

Upper Elementary-Grade 4 through High School (Grades 4-11) – GA reserves the right to determine the proper placement of new students in grades one and above. In addition to age, the Admissions Committee will assess the applicant’s academic level, previous school record, as well as the student’s physical, social and emotional development.

 

Grades 11 & 12 – NO student is accepted into grade 11 or 12 or who have been EXPELLED from attending school.
